Prepare for WotLK Classic and level Inscription from 1 to 450 in no time.

Prepare for WotLK Classic and level Inscription from 1 to 450 in no time.

Inscription is a new profession introduced first in Wrath of the Lich King. It is a crafting profession that allows players to craft a wide variety of beneficial items. Raiders can use scrolls to enhance and buff their key stats. Players of all types are able to use glyphs to enhance certain spells and abilities. Darkmoon Decks can even be crafted by inscribing Darkmoon Cards as a way to create powerful trinkets. Some of these trinkets are even Best in Slot (BIS) for many classes when getting ready to raid, increasing your DPS vastly..

With the WotLK Classic pre-patch launch, the inscription profession will be added to the game. Many will use this time to quickly power-level the new profession as they await the official Classic Wrath launch on September 26th. Our Inscription 1 - 450 guide will help you easily and efficiently level up your new profession.

Professions 1 - 450 Leveling Guides

The inscription profession uses herbs as a primary resource. Players mill the herbs into pigments, which they can then use to inscribe glyphs, scrolls, or other craftable items. You will need to make sure you have the proper amount of herbs as you level inscription up. The below table serves as a handy estimate that goes over how many herbs you will need. Use this table as an Inscription Leveling Guide to prepare your reserves!

You can buy some more at the auction house if you do not have enough herbs. In the event you have too many, you can always sell them for profit. Your mileage may vary in terms of how many herbs you need to obtain the appropriate amount of pigments. The table above lists the number of herbs I personally milled to successfully level up the inscription profession. Again, in the event you are over the needed amount of materials, you can sell them at the auction house. It's better to have too much than not enough and overpay.
